Exercise your UK GDPR rights regarding your personal data

Your Rights Under UK GDPR

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten"): request that we delete all personal data we hold about you.
  • Access: receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Restriction: ask us to limit how we process your data.

We will respond to your request within 30 days as required by UK GDPR. In complex cases we may extend this by a further 2 months and will notify you accordingly.

How to Submit a Request

To exercise any of your data rights, simply send an email to us with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your Capture Core account
  • The type of request (e.g. deletion, access, portability, rectification)
  • Any additional details relevant to your request

Right to Complain

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
